Hope Academy
Students attend Hope Academy on campus. Our curriculum features the Accelerated Christian Educational (ACE) School of Tomorrow program. The ACE curriculum offers a high school diploma and transferable credits.

Upon arrival, each student is given a diagnostic test which determines an appropriate placement level for each course. An individualized education program is then designed for each student, allowing them to achieve according to their individual potential.

Most students are behind in their regular grade level when they come to House of Hope because of poor attendance and lack of motivation. In our program, they can quickly make up courses and improve their academic level. They will also be required to take a health class that consists of many topics which include: sexual education, substance abuse, stress management, and proper nutrition.

A teacher(s) instructs and guides the class as students work on individual lessons or together on group projects. A Career Counselor is on staff to: advise the students on making wise career choices that best fit their interests, help make the transition from House of Hope back to their public or private school setting easier, and assist in college preparation.

Because one of our goals is to enable troubled teenagers to become positive contributing members of society, Hope Academy includes instruction in living skills. Responsibility is earned and tested through a three phase program that rewards performance and attitude. This aspect of Hope Academy provides the students with hands-on experience in order to give variety to their education as well as teaching them skills that they will use for the rest of their lives.
