Our residential home for seven boys is located on an educational working farm on the Northwest edge of Bluffton, Indiana. Residents attend school at Hope Academy, our on-campus learning center. They participate in nearly every aspect of life on a working farm. Whether they are gathering eggs, feeding the pigs, moving cattle, or baling hay, the boys are learning to address the struggles in their own lives that have brought them to House of Hope. Chores, duties and responsibilities are only a part of their healing process.
Families come to us for various reasons. They are in some kind of crisis relating to their teenager's behavior. Most of the teens are behind in school. Our teacher, houseparents, counselor and staff work together to help each student develop to their maximum potential as they work their way through the biblically based program, designed to correct negative behaviors and to heal fractured family relationships. On average, residents stay at House of Hope NEI for 12-18 months, depending on their individual progress and initiative.
We are committed to providing an affordable, family-style environment for teens in conjunction with training and Christ-centered counseling for the entire family. House of Hope NEI works with families within a 100 mile radius of our home because parents are required to participate in the program through weekly counseling, visitations and parenting classes held on campus. Once healthy boundaries have been established, the boys will return home every other weekend so families can work on specific issues as they progress through the program.
House of Hope Northeast Indiana is an affiliate of National House of Hope.

Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered home, on a farm setting, where teens in crisis can find hope and healing through ACADEMIC, EMOTIONAL, PHYSICAL and SPIRITUAL development, while promoting family restoration and reunification through parental involvement.
